IB
(International Baccalaureate Diploma Program)
IB 는 스위스 제네바의 IBO재단에서 주관하는 시험으로, 국제 바칼로레아 디플로마 프로그램(International Baccalaureate Diploma Program)을 말합니다.
IB는 2년에 걸쳐 진행하는 고교과정이며, 매년 5월과 11월에 수능과 같은 개념의 시험이 진행 됩니다. 각 과목별로 Internal Assessment(2년 과정중 진행하는
수행평가 개념,20% 비중)과 External Assessment(5월/11월에 진행하는 시험, 80% 비중) 를 합쳐서 점수를 내며, 과목별로 1점~7점까지의 점수를 받게 됩니다.
6개 과목 외 별도로 과정 중에 수행하는 TOK(Theory of Knowledge)와 EE(Extended Essay)를 합쳐 최대 3점을 추가, 총점 45점의 점수를 받을 수 있습니다.
Diploma를 받기 위해서는 과목별 최소 3점이상, 총점 24점을 받아야 합니다.
